A day at CITI FIELD! How the Mets' park oozes NYC personality

👉 It had been more than a decade since the last time I saw a New York Mets game at Citi Field, so I was very glad to have a chance to revisit! Attending a Sunday afternoon game with a friend who's a NYC native and Mets fan, I got a nice reminder of all the features that make this ballpark fun to watch a game in. From riding the 7 train to Flushing to walking through the Jackie Robinson Rotunda to seeing the Shea Bridge, this stadium doesn't miss any chances to remind you that you're in New York. And that's a good thing, because Citi Field is full of personality. I particularly like the small nods to NYC baseball history as well as a terrific food selection that includes many of this city's greatest hits. Here's a look inside Citi Field for a New York Mets game! The Itinerant Fan video channel is just getting started! I'm planning to make lots more stadium and travel content.
