Dark orchestral music for reading, writing and a journey through a kingdom lost beneath the sea.
The Bells of a Drowned Kingdom is a gothic requiem in twelve movements by Orchestra Phantasma.
Expressive cello, haunting piano, sweeping strings and wordless choir carry the music from royal grandeur to sacrifice, grief and remembrance. Settle into a dark neoclassical atmosphere for studying, working, fantasy worldbuilding or simply listening.
“As a kingdom drowned, one bell kept ringing for those who could still escape.”
THE STORY
On the eve of a coronation, a storm breaks the sea walls of an ancient kingdom. As its people flee, a bellkeeper remains in his tower to guide the final boats, including the one carrying his daughter. The sea takes the city, but she carries its song into exile—and one night, the drowned bells answer.
