Circuit House Diva: Jennifer Holliday, Diva Series 2014

Circuit house meets Broadway drama in this Diva Hall of Fame tribute to Jennifer Holliday. Recorded for the Diva Series in 2014, the mix celebrates Holliday’s towering vocal presence and her crossover impact from stage to club. It’s a focused set meant to spotlight the remixes that turned her powerful performances into dance-floor essentials. Highlights include Tony Moran, Warren Rigg & Dave Saronson’s extended take on “Magic,” the Rosabel Dreamgirls Attitude Mix of “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going,” and Thunderpuss 2000 club treatments of “Think It Over” and “A Woman’s Got The Power.” Moran’s Anthem Mix of “No Frills Love” and Ralphi’s Classic House Mix round out a concise sequence that reframes Holliday’s Broadway intensity as pure club catharsis. Clocking roughly 43 minutes, this episode keeps the focus tight: big vocals, big mixes, and the moment when theatrical soul meets circuit energy.
