You can become exceptionally good at something and still struggle to make good money from it. Why? Because skill, problem value and commercial value are not the same thing. In this video, I break down three levels of value: Skill Value — How capable are you at doing something? Problem Value — How important or costly is the problem you're solving? Commercial Value — How much is someone actually willing to pay to have that problem solved? This distinction has changed how I think about building a career and choosing which problems I want to become exceptionally good at solving. I also explain why this thinking is part of what has led me to explore Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) — a field I'm entering and learning from the ground up. I'm not presenting myself as an expert. I'm exploring a problem space and documenting what I learn along the way. The bigger question is: What valuable problem can you become exceptionally good at solving? #Career #Business #Entrepreneurship #Skills #ValueCreation #ThirdPartyRiskManagement #TPRM #Zambia
