The Destilerías Unidas marry three different distillates made from Virgin Sugar Cane Honey and sugar cane molasses. The sugar cane molasses is distilled in a Barbet Column Still to produce a light rum, a steam boiler processes Virgin Sugar Cane Honey into a medium rum and a copper still turns Virgin Sugar Cane Honey into a heavy rum.
