KUANTAN, PAHANG - The place Nanami Kento want to settle down

Have you ever wondered what makes Kuantan, Pahang such a memorable destination? Join us as we spend two days exploring one of Malaysia's most charming east coast cities through its delicious local food, beautiful beaches, vibrant street art, and rich cultural heritage. Our journey begins at Arked Sri Kemunting, where we enjoy a satisfying meal at Penyetan, famous for its flavourful Nasi Ayam Penyet. From there, we head to the iconic Pantai Teluk Cempedak, one of Kuantan's most popular beaches. During our visit, we also talk about how Nanami Kento from Jujutsu Kaisen unexpectedly brought international attention to Kuantan after expressing his wish to retire here one day. Back in Kuantan city, we stop by the famous Kula Cakes to taste their signature Mango Cheesecake, a dessert loved by both locals and visitors. Our adventure continues through the colourful Kuantan Street Art, where every mural tells its own unique story and provides the perfect backdrop for photography. To experience one of Malaysia's traditional arts, we visit Nature Batik Village, where we try painting our own batik artwork on canvas while learning about this beautiful cultural heritage. As evening arrives, it's time for dinner at Sate Zul, enjoying freshly grilled satay before ending the first day. The next afternoon, we return for another culinary adventure at Ratu Patin, where we finally try the famous Pais Patin Tempoyak, one of Pahang's signature dishes. Before leaving Kuantan, we make one final stop back at Penyetan to take away one of our favourite drinks from the trip — their refreshing Kopi Aceh.
