Backpacking the Mackenzie Trail | Mississagi Provincial Park

Well… I tried. 😂 I headed into Mississagi Provincial Park with plans to backpack the Mackenzie Trail. As sometimes happens with adventures, things didn’t exactly go according to plan. There were beautiful trails, plenty of blowdowns, a little doubling back, a change of plans, and nights spent at Helenbar and Semiwhite Lakes. And of course, some swimming — because apparently I can’t be beside a beautiful lake without getting in it. 😂 It wasn’t quite the trip I set out to do, but that’s part of the adventure.
