Hokk Cultural Group in Support of the Butura New District II #Mushere#Butura#Bokkos

Hokk Cultural Group from Mushere, Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria, is a significant Plateau cultural dancer. They represented the Mushere people in congratulating the people of Butura on their ascension to the status of a district. Historians say the Mushere people have a long and friendly relationship with the Butura people that extends back more than 500 years. However, the drumming, dancing, and language are remarkably similar to those of the Mwaghavul people of the Mangu Local Government Area.
