SAP2000 v27.0.0 Enhancements

In this video, we will discuss the new enhancements in SAP2000 v27.0.0. Here is a list of all of the topics covered. DRAFTING AND EDITING -A user mesh feature has been added for areas and solids, allowing a user-controlled mesh to be imported from a DXF or created using other editing options. -Solid objects can now be generated using a selection of lines representing the solid edges. STRUCTURAL MODEL -Solid elements can now include nonlinear material behavior. Currently a Von Mises plasticity model is available and can be used with steel and other non-concrete materials. EXTERNAL IMPORT AND EXPORT -Import and export of OBJ model files have been added to transfer geometry with external sources. NEW CONCRETE FRAME DESIGN CODES -ACI 318-25 -Eurocode EN 1992-1-1:2023 -Vietnamese TCVN 5574:2018 NEW STEEL FRAME DESIGN CODES -CSA S16-19 steel frame design now includes the Direct Analysis Method for stability -CSA S16-24
