Testing a bivvy bag and tarp in freezing conditions | Bivvy a month Jan 2025

Using the new year as an excuse to get my bivvy a month plans back on track. Me and Roberta headed out into the woods for our first wild camp of 2025. I had taken a bivvy bag and a tarp and when she saw my plans she binned her tent and decided she would rough it out in the cold too. It was colder than forecast with a hard frost but the trees and tarp saved us from that.
