Exploring for the very first Time in Hardcore Hytale !! Will I Die Today??? - Day 6

Broadcasted on Twitch:   / hardcore_chris   (finally headed out to explore. Mostly quiet cuz I was terrified. Went to a frozen tuntra cuz I thought I'd find iron there. Did but only bc I found one of these cozy underground caves. Still need more iron. Also found cobalt. I wasn't sure how to continue so that's why I ended!) I started the stream by taking on my first bear in the world, which I spotted right in front of my wall! Perfect opportunity to see if we are ready! It took me way too long to kill cuz I constantly ran back up on my wall! Did it though, got the first heavy leather in the world! Then I headed out! I was terrified constantly! At some point I looked at the map cuz I thought I was going for a while! I onyl went beyond a single field bruh XD I was actually surprised that I only went for such a small distance! So I pushed onward! Found a few big kweebek villages in the distance, the ones where the village is built on and inside this really big tree!! I only went to two though, and all the iron ore I found on this journey came from one chest! It seems like the best way to get iron in this game is by getting it out of chests, but I only came to realize that at the end of the stream! I found the first frozen tundra, which is Zone III I believe? I was terrified at the frozen skeletons cuz in my memory they were stronger than the regular ones! Found a cave and went inside, where I found only copper but mostly cobalt and no iron ore! But I found one of those cozy underground hobbit holes, where Mike from Monsters Ink lives inside! And this is where I found most of the iron from today! I eventually found my way back up and went up the mountain cuz I remember there being a lot of ores from my last world! Not really, at least on that one! I finally dug a hole for storage, crafted another workbench, armor station and weapon station to see what we actually need for upgrades! This is where I also realized that crafting Cobalt is a shitty idea cuz it requires just as much heavy leather as adamantite! So I said we rather should get thorium armour cuz it only requires medium leather at the same amount of protection as Cobalt! But my head was feeling kind of empty at that point so I wasn't sure how to continue anymore so I ended the stream! But at the time of writing this I decided: • First, stay and farm as much cobalt that we need for later upgrades, then place a marker before heading back to spawn and maybe even find some more iron in the process • Go back, take as much of the azure stuff as we can for teleporters later! (for which we need to upgrade the workbench to craft the alchemist station) • Clean our inventory, maybe invest some iron into a backpack for more storage on the way back! • Head out again, this time searching for a desert to mine thorium and maybe also iron cuz I can actually remember finding iron alongside thorium in the last world! • Come back with enough thorium to craft some armour and upgrade the armour station, workbech and weapon station to tier 3 to be able to craft adamantite! • Then do base improvements! (optional) • Get teleporters either before or after aquiring admantite! • Head to Zone IV to aquire enough admantite for full armour, tools and some leftovers! • Get ready for Chapter 1!
