(MAJOR LAP 1 INCIDENT) Heatseeker Race 2 win🥇 ‪@TeamSportKarting‬ Liverpool

race 2 of the Heatseeker event was eventful to say the least. Started off with a major lap 1 incident which saw jake saunders flipped pretty much upside down. I missed the incident taking place but you very much see the carnage that followed. Thankfully somehow all drivers involved were "ok". 1 guy did go to hospital with suspected broken fingers and wish him a speedy recovery. ‪@maxhalliday_karting‬ had a good view of the incident so check out any videos he uploads. On to the Race.. with the karts on speed 4 for the first time it took some getting used to just because it drastically changed your steering and pedal inputs making it feel like you needed to learn the track all over again. Managed to bag myself a Race 2 victory, leading from the front and keeping a 0.5 to 1second a gap to Archie hogan for the second half of the race which is really really not an easy thing to do. At one point i do turn round and tell him to leave me alone 😂 Ended up 3rd overall in the event. Great effort from everyone involved and big shout out to the Marshalls for sorting the incident.
