BROK3N VOWS - Salt (Official Lyric Video)

BROK3N VOWS - Salt (Official Lyric Video) An emotional post-hardcore and alternative metal song about someone who disguises cruelty as kindness, turns every apology into another weapon and calls the damage love. Stream / Listen: 👉 https://linktr.ee/brok3nvows “You rub salt into my open wounds Singing soft like a funeral tune…” Some people do not need to shout to destroy you. They speak softly, act innocent and make sure nobody else understands what is happening behind closed doors. Salt is about finally seeing through that kindness and washing away everything they left inside you. Wipe the table clean. Wash the salt away. 🖤 Follow BROK3N VOWS for more music. 🎧 Lyrics: Sitting at the table with an empty glass Counting down the hours till the shadows pass You pour your kindness like a bitter drink Telling me exactly what I have to think You bring a bandage made of wire and thread Replaying every single word I said My skin is stinging, my voice is low You rub salt into my open wounds Singing soft like a funeral tune Call it love when you watch me bleed Planting every single poisoned seed Poisoned seed Sunlight cutting through the dusty blinds Reading all the threats between your quiet lines You act so holy with your dirty hands Making sure that nobody understands You bring a bandage made of wire and thread Replaying every single word I said My skin is stinging, my voice is low You rub salt into my open wounds Singing soft like a funeral tune Call it love when you watch me bleed Planting every single poisoned seed Poisoned seed Wipe the table clean Wash the salt away You rub salt into my open wounds Singing soft like a funeral tune Call it love when you watch me bleed Planting every single poisoned seed You rub salt into my open wounds Singing soft like a funeral tune Call it love when you watch me bleed Planting every single poisoned seed ⚠️ If this song hit you, leave a comment: Have you ever had someone disguise cruelty as care? #BROK3NVOWS #Salt #PostHardcore #AlternativeMetal #LyricVideo
