Grand Avenue Railroad Crossing, Carlsbad, CA

Was out in the North Country area today. Caught this Amtrak Surfliner commuter train crossing the Grand Ave Railroad Crossing at 12:59pm on the NCTD San Diego Subdivision in Carlsbad California. This is a crossing I really wanted to get and it's rather nice also. I'm glad NCTD kept this crossing the way it is because most of crossings are getting there older equipment change. Eventually this crossing would have electronic bells and LEDs lights added. Back in 2009 the only difference that this crossing ever had that the gate barriers originally had WCH Incandescent Gate Lights.
