🧟 WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL DID I JUST WATCH?! I finally watched RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD: AFTERMATH, and as a lifelong fan of the original 1985 classic, I'm absolutely furious. This was promoted as a continuation of one of my favourite horror movies of all time. What I got instead was an experience filled with what appear to be AI-generated visuals, characters that inexplicably change appearance, shifting aspect ratios, and some of the most bizarre filmmaking decisions I've ever witnessed. And can someone PLEASE explain the bacon and eggs being cooked on a grill during a zombie outbreak?! 😂 This thing is presented as a news broadcast covering the events in Louisville during the original Return of the Living Dead. On paper, that could have been interesting. In execution? I've got some serious thoughts. And let's not forget my earlier conversation with Linnea Quigley, who personally told me she wasn't involved with the new film and wanted nothing to do with AI.
