The song that was never in the ledger.
A wordless, close-mic vocalise inspired by THE DEAD PAY IN SONG by Ralph Hoot. No lyrics — just breath, humming, and water against wood. This is what the ferry sounds like before the first passenger appears in the mist.
This is the official soundtrack for Chapter 5: Mist on the Water and Chapter 26: The Threshold.
ABOUT THE NOVEL:
For five generations, Harrow women have poled The Wren across the river. When mist rises, the dead wait on the far bank. Their fare is a song, recorded in the ledger. The rule is simple: Carry them, don't keep them. A lyrical, gothic folk tale about inheritance, grief, and learning to stay.
