A look at my home-built CW decoder, using an ESP32-P4, a PJRC Audio Adaptor and a 5-inch 720 x 1280 touchscreen. The decoder converts received Morse code into readable text, with a live spectrum and waterfall to help tune the signal. Features include: • Nine lines of decoded text with whole-word wrapping • Up to ten pages of text history • Page navigation and a LIVE button to follow incoming text • Automatic tone tracking and a decoding-speed display in WPM • SNR readout • Adjustable scope zoom and waterfall time base • RELOCK to restart acquisition without clearing stored text • Text export to a computer through serial The project is still being developed and tested, with a focus on clear text, responsive controls and reliable decoding. Input level and signal quality remain important for good results. We use FLDIGI for the CW stream at 50WPM Thanks for watching! Questions and suggestions are welcome. 73, Johan #CWDecoder #MorseCode #ESP32P4 #HamRadio #AmateurRadio #HomebrewRadio #PJRC
