Danish Light Rail in Copenhagen - Hovedstadens Letbane - Siemens Avenio

The return of trams to the Danish capital region. Opened in two stages in October 2025 and August 2026. The light rail line Letbane leads from Ishøj in the south to Lundtofte in the north. This footage from August 2026 shows the first section of the line Ishøj - Glostrup - Rødovre Nord, just a few days before the ribbon-cutting of the new long northern section to Herlev, Lingby and Lundtofte.
