Originally the Swiss Family Treehouse, the structure was reimagined by Disney Imagineer Tony Baxter to promote the animated film Tarzan. With over 6,000 vinyl leaves and standing 80 feet tall, this impressive attraction brought guests deep into Tarzan’s jungle world via a suspension bridge and interactive displays. Despite its popularity, the Disneyland version closed for refurbishment in 2021, following a bridge plank failure in 2019. Eventually, it was replaced by a new iteration: the Adventureland Treehouse, inspired by the classic Swiss Family Robinson story, which reopened in 2023. The video also highlights the version still operating in Hong Kong Disneyland, which opened in 2005. Situated on Tarzan’s Island and accessed via rafts, this version remains a nostalgic draw for guests. Whether you're a Disney history buff or just curious about how these iconic treehouses came to be, this is a story worth swinging into! Website: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarzan%...
