53: The Invisible Art Behind The Office, Lost & Mad Men (w/ Alfredo Tognetti)

If you’ve watched The Office, Lost, or Mad Men, you’ve seen Alfredo Tognetti’s work and never noticed it. That’s the point. Alfredo is a Creative Director, Visual Effects Artist, and the Founder of Amigo Creative. He has spent more than 25 years making things that don’t exist look real, including Emmy-nominated VFX work. We go behind the scenes of the “invisible” effects that keep your favorite shows believable. Then we dig into how AI is handing creatives a nail gun after a lifetime with a hammer, why generalists may be built for this moment, and what it costs to keep up.
