Mein Herr und Gott, from Wagner's Lohengrin, Hans Tashjian, Bass-baritone

Hans Tashjian sings King Heinrich's aria, Mein Herr und Gott from Wagner's Lohengrin. English translation: My Lord and God, I call on You now to be present at this combat! Through the sword’s victory, pronounce a judgment that clearly reveals deceit and truth! Grant heroic strength to the arm of the pure, and let the strength of the false one fail! Help us, God, in this hour, for our wisdom is but simplicity!
