ВОЗВРАТ В 1982 — Забудь о дне сегодняшнем // Ностальгический синтвейв 80-х

BACK TO 1982 — Forget Today, Drift Away // 80s Nostalgic Synthwave & Dreamwave Mix Stepping back to the chilly autumn of Haddonfield, Illinois, or rather, a sunny spring day in Southern California where the magic actually happened. This is a rare behind-the-scenes look from John Carpenter's 1978 masterpiece, Halloween, capturing that eerie moment before terror struck the quiet suburban streets. Right in the center of the frame is the infamous 1978 Ford LTD Country Squire station wagon, the exact vehicle Michael Myers stole after breaking out of Smith's Grove Sanitarium. Look closely at the background and you will spot the iconic retro red-and-blue Standard Oil gas station sign, grounding this cinematic moment perfectly in late 70s Americana. It is incredible how a movie made on a shoestring budget of just 300,000 dollars ended up defining the entire slasher genre for generations to come. For those wondering about the history and exact location, this sequence was captured around South Pasadena, California. Today, the entire area has changed completely. The vintage Standard Oil station is long gone, replaced by modern developments, and the old-school rolling scenery has been taken over by industrial complexes and bustling city life. But looking at this grainy film scan, you can still feel the haunting synth notes of the theme song playing in the background. Truly a timeless piece of horror history 📍 Photo capture location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/nRfQ94Xaga22c... ❤️ Have cool or meaningful photos from the 70s–80s?
