As an Australian woman marrying into a Moroccan family, experiencing a Moroccan wedding as the bride was something I’ll never forget. From the incredible atmosphere and music to the traditions, dancing and FIVE different bridal outfits, this wedding was a true celebration of Moroccan culture. Throughout the night I wore five different looks, including traditional Moroccan takchitas and a very special Amazigh bridal outfit — a moment that meant so much to me and connected beautifully with the Amazigh culture I’ve spent so much time learning about and sharing.
