Day 4 in Leh — and my second training session at high altitude! 🏃‍♂️🏔️ I’m in Leh preparing for the Ladakh Half Marathon 2026, and after spending the first few days acclimatizing to the altitude, it was time to get the body moving again. This was my second training session in Leh. Running here is completely different from running back home. At around 3,500 metres / 11,500 ft above sea level, even an easy pace can feel different. The idea today wasn’t to chase pace or distance — it was simply to understand how my body was responding to the altitude, keep the effort controlled and continue adapting ahead of race day. Every training session here is teaching me something. Breathing. Pacing. Patience. And most importantly — respecting the altitude. This is all part of my journey towards the Ladakh Half Marathon 2026 — from arriving in Leh and acclimatizing, to training at altitude, exploring Ladakh and eventually standing at the starting line. The countdown to race day continues. 🏃‍♂️🏔️ 📍 Leh, Ladakh, India 🏔️ Altitude: Approx. 3,500 m / 11,500 ft 🏃 Day 4 in Leh 🏃‍♂️ Training Session #2 🎯 Ladakh Half Marathon 2026 Follow the complete journey — running, riding, travelling and life along the way. 📸 Instagram: @run_ride_fun @solo_soulful If you enjoy real running journeys, travel and experiences beyond the finish line, subscribe to run_ride_fun and join me on the road to the Ladakh Half Marathon. ❤️ 💬 Have you ever run or trained at high altitude?
