GOSAIKUNDA VLOG | LAURIBINA TO SURYAKUNDA | RASUWA NEPAL

Video includes trail from Lauribina to Suryakunda!! Gosaikunda is a short but worthy destination filled with various natural, religious as well as spiritual importance. One of the nearest trek destination located at Rasuwa district, very close to Kathmandu, the capital city. Started the trek early morning, ascending an hour of straight uphill to reach Buddha Mandir located at an altitude of 4200 m. Steep uphill trail with magnificent views of the surrounding landscapes. After reaching Buddha Mandir, the trail gets more easier to walk. Another hour of normal trail to reach Gosaikunda (4380 m). During the trek, you will pass Saraswoti Kunda and Bhairab Kunda before reaching Gosaikunda. We spend some time enjoying the beauty of the nature around the lakes. Then, we headed towards Gosaikunda Lake. Took an hour from Buddha Mandir to Gosaikunda. The first glimpse of Gosaikunda lake was indescribable. The clear sparkling bluish water of Gosaikunda, that peaceful ambience and the spiritual feeling around the lake. Stayed some time around the lake, booked a room and then headed towards Suryakunda Lake. Suryakunda lake, located at an altitude of 4609 m, is the highest situated lake around the region. It will take another hour of uphill walk to reach Suryakunda from Gosaikunda. You will pass numerous lakes during the trek. As mentioned, there are approx. 108 lakes around Gosaikunda. The trails to Suryakunda was snowy and somehow difficult to walk. The weather was unpredictable with occasional snowfall. Lots of frozen lake seen during the Gosaikunda-Suryakunda trail. Finally reached Suryakunda, spend some quality time around the lake and then returned back to Gosaikunda retracing the trail. From Gosaikunda, we descend Dhuche via Lauribina, Chandanbari and Deurali. PLEASE LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE.
