Welcome back to Expat in Mazarrón! In this video, I'm taking you on a tour of Camposol Sector A, the original part of the Camposol urbanisation and home to a friendly, established community. We'll explore what Sector A has to offer, from its residential streets and green areas to sports facilities and local amenities. Please note: This video was filmed in 2024. At the time, the new private hospital in Sector A was still under construction. Unfortunately, the project has since stalled, and the hospital is currently closed until a new buyer or investor takes it over. Many residents have lived here for years, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The sector offers a variety of villas and apartments, attractive green spaces and several community clubs and activities. Residents enjoy everything from pétanque and social gatherings to fitness groups and charity events throughout the year. Camposol is located around 15–20 minutes from the beaches of Puerto de Mazarrón, approximately 35–40 minutes from Murcia International Airport, and within easy reach of Cartagena and the regional capital of Murcia. One of the biggest projects in Sector A was the construction of a new private hospital. Although the building was nearing completion when this video was filmed in 2024, the project has since stopped and the hospital remains closed while awaiting new ownership and investment. Hopefully, one day it will become an important healthcare facility for Camposol and the surrounding area.
