Frances Premier

You know Frances -- the sassy badger who loves bread and jam a little too much, gently tricks her badger pal, Albert, into realizing she's best-friend material, and can think up a lengthy song about well, just about anything? Well, hold on to your Chompo Bars. PBS KIDS Sprout, the all-preschool-TV-all-the-time channel, is premiering Frances on Friday, June 20, to launch its Summer Fun Fridays, in which two Sprout miniseries air from noon to 3 pm ET. The show's state-of-the-art digital puppetry and animation comes courtesy of The Jim Henson Company (yes, that Jim Henson) and HIT Entertainment, the creative geniuses behind that guy, Bob, who likes to build things. Stay tuned to the STA blog for more Frances updates next week!
