On 24 July 2026, I had the opportunity to visit the opening morning of Lara Croft: 30 Years On – From Derby to Global Icon at Pickford’s House Museum in Derby. 🎮🦇 The exhibition brings together an incredible collection of rare relics connected to the creation and history of the original Tomb Raider games — with far too much to take in during just one visit! While exploring the exhibition, Central ITV News was also there filming and speaking to visitors about the exhibition… and, rather unexpectedly, they turned their questions towards me! After weeks of searching for the broadcast, I was beginning to think the footage had become lost media. Thankfully, I finally tracked it down — so here it is, preserved for the internet! It was a fantastic way to begin what promises to be a very special year for Tomb Raider fans as Lara Croft celebrates 30 years.
