Dysgraphia: Where We Have Been, Where We Are and Where We Go Next Dr Helen Ross explores the changing understanding of dysgraphia and considers where we have come from, where we are today, and where we need to go next. In this presentation for International Dysgraphia Awareness Day 2026, Helen looks at dysgraphia, the growing awareness of writing difficulties, and the importance of improving understanding, recognition and support. Dysgraphia can affect handwriting, written expression and the ability to get ideas down on paper. For many children and adults, these difficulties can significantly affect learning, confidence, and everyday life. Helen's presentation looks at the progress made in understanding dysgraphia while also considering what still needs to change. Her experience and knowledge help us think about the future of dysgraphia awareness and support. International Dysgraphia Awareness Day 2026 has the theme: “Every Voice Matters – Celebrating 5 Years of Dysgraphia Awareness, Play and Understanding.” Find out more about IDAD and the other presenters: https://dyslexiaa2z.com/idad/ #Dysgraphia #DysgraphiaAwareness #handwriting #handwritingpractice #IDAD2026 #Neurodiversity #neurodiversityatwork #neurodiversityatwork #dyslexia #dyslexiaawareness
