Join me and hop on this evening walk through Essen Margarethenhöhe on a sunny summer day. The neighborhood is located southwest of the city center. Through urban planning procedures, main parts of the settlement were established as a so called garden city for affordable housing back in the early years of the twentieth century. Nowadays, the settlement is still under the administration of Margarethe-Krupp-Stiftung ("Foundation").
