Embezzlement of funds and irregularities at Moi University were flagged by Auditor General

The extent of the misuse of funds at public universities was this afternoon laid bare before the Public Investments Committee on Governance and Education when the Vice-Chancellor of Moi University Professor Isaac Kosgey appeared before it. The VC was at pains to explain why for instance 30 million shillings was spent on a gate when the university was insolvent.
