4 Faulty PSP's - Visual & Functional Diagnostic Checks

In this video, I take a first look at 4x faulty PSP consoles to work out what’s wrong with each one before deciding what repairs they may need. This is a visual and functional diagnostic check only — I don’t open any of the consoles or inspect the motherboards at this stage. The aim is to assess each PSP as non-intrusively as possible and identify the obvious faults before moving on to deeper diagnosis and repair in future videos. 🔍 Checks carried out include: • General visual condition • Whether the console powers on • Screen condition and display faults • UMD drive operation • Button and control functionality • Analogue stick operation • Basic menu navigation • Button testing using a PSP test application where possible • Checking batteries, chargers and accessories where relevant Some faults are immediately obvious, while others only become apparent once the console is powered up and tested properly. This video is the starting point for these four PSP repair projects. Once the initial faults have been identified, each console can then be looked at individually and repaired, restored or upgraded as needed.
