*Who are Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) in Islam? Where is the mysterious wall of Dhul-Qarnayn, and what happens when they are finally released before Judgment Day?*
The Quran describes an enormous barrier of iron and molten copper, built between two mountains to protect people from Yajuj and Majuj.
But the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also warned that an opening had been made in their barrier.
And one remarkable Hadith describes Gog and Magog digging through it, day after day, until the appointed time when they say two powerful words: *In sha Allah.*
So who are these mysterious people? Where is the wall today? And what will happen when it finally opens?
Just Islamic sources, storytelling, and a mystery that has fascinated people for centuries.

*A NOTE ON ACCURACY*
The Quran and Hadith provide the foundation of this story. The visual appearance of the wall, landscapes, and dramatic scenes are artistic interpretations.
The exact location of Dhul-Qarnayn's barrier and the physical appearance of Yajuj and Majuj have not been reliably established.
The daily-digging narration is graded sahih by Darussalam on Sunnah.com, while Imam al-Tirmidhi described it as hasan gharib.
We do not claim to know when the major signs of Judgment Day will begin.
🌙 *THE BIGGER LESSON*
The story of Yajuj and Majuj isn't only about a wall or the events before Judgment Day.
It's also a reminder about human power, humility, the limits of what we know, and recognizing Allah's will.
Dhul-Qarnayn possessed remarkable strength and resources, yet he attributed his success to Allah.
And sometimes, two words can remind us how little control we truly have over tomorrow:
*In sha Allah.*
