Port Glasgow to Langbank via Kilmacolm 28/10/23

We set off from Port Glasgow railway station heading up by Birkmire park making our way onto the shared cycle path to Kilmacolm heading along what was once the rail line now an excellent cycle and walking path to Kilmacolm arriving at Kilmacolm we headed straight to the Cargill community centre for a scone and cuppa . Then it was off again up into the hills on our way to Langbank after we crossed the boardwalk we were presented with some wonderful views over the river Clyde and the Arrochar Alps beyond then it was a steady descent down across some fields then onwards into Langbank railway station the end of our walk.
