Moto Guzzi V85 TT GDO - Four seasons in four days

_ Day one: Pitești - Curtea de Argeș - Bâlea Lake - Cârțișoara - Viscri - Saschiz - Corund - Bilbor (where I realized I wouldn't have enough fuel to reach Vatra Dornei; a local resident provided some—for a price, of course, though it took some convincing to get him to accept the money—my heartfelt thanks to him!) - Vatra Dornei. A few years ago, I traveled the road between Glodu and Bilbor in the opposite direction. Calling it a "road" is a stretch—an understatement, really—as those several kilometers were more like a "road to hell," filled with extremely deep ruts and boulders the size of a human head. Now, almost the entire stretch is impeccably paved, save for a section of two or three hundred meters that remains unpaved but is as smooth as a tabletop. Well done! If you’ve never been to this area, I highly recommend a visit; you’d be hard-pressed to find more beautiful scenery. I’m terribly sorry I couldn’t film this final, superb stretch, but, as it happens, my battery ran out. Total: approximately 550 km. _ Day two: Vatra Dornei - Cârlibaba - Prislop Pass (where the fog was so thick you practically had to navigate using ultrasound, like a bat) - Borșa - Vișeu de Sus - Sighetu Marmației - Săpânța (I had intended to stop at the Merry Cemetery, but a hailstorm began just two or three hundred meters before reaching it) - Satu Mare - Șimleu Silvaniei. Total: approximately 370 km. _ Day 3: Șimleu Silvaniei - Oradea - Arad - Timișoara - Oravița - Moldova Veche - Orșova. Total: approximately 530 km. _ Day 4: Orșova - Craiova - Pitești. Total: approximately 270 km.
