A 300-year-old windmill just outside Montreal? 🇨🇦🌾 Today I'm exploring Pointe-du-Moulin Historic Park in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, Quebec, a beautiful historic site on the shores of Lac Saint-Louis. The Pointe-du-Moulin windmill was built around 1707, during the time of New France, and was used to grind grain for the local population. Standing here today, it's incredible to think about how much Québec has changed while this historic landmark has remained. In this video, I'll show you: 📍 Pointe-du-Moulin Historic Park 🌾 The historic Pointe-du-Moulin windmill 🇨🇦 A piece of Québec history from the French Regime 🌊 The beautiful scenery around Lac Saint-Louis 🏡 Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot and the Île-Perrot area 📜 How the windmill was used more than 300 years ago 🌳 The park, nature, and surrounding landscape 🚗 A great day-trip destination near Montreal If you enjoy travel, hidden places, Québec history, road trips, and discovering interesting places around Montreal, subscribe and come explore with me. 📍 Location: Pointe-du-Moulin Historic Park, Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot, Quebec, Canada
