Encaustic & Charcoal Keep it Simple

Hello! I have been away for a bit, but I am slowly getting back. In today's video, I really wanted to work on keeping things simple. I used charcoal to create a surface design and finalized with an encaustic finish. I am really intrigued with charcoal and how it moves and creates such depth. I think I could be entertained for hours just watching it interact with various surfaces. Do you have much experience using charcoal?
