Japan Sakura Trip D2 | 仙台朝市 山形滿開櫻花 米澤牛壽喜燒 Morning Market, Kajo Castle Park Cherry Blossoms, Sukiyaki

Day 2 of our Tohoku sakura adventure! We started the day exploring Sendai Morning Market — lots of local vibes and fresh seafood 🐟 — then had an early lunch of Sendai’s famous grilled ox tongue (can’t skip it when you’re here!). After that, we took the train to Yamagata for Kajo Castle Park, which was in peak full bloom 🌸 — one of the prettiest sakura spots so far! Before heading back to Sendai, we couldn’t resist trying Yonezawa beef for dinner 🥩, and ended the day with a quick hotel room tour.
