Watch and share this 'making of' video for Roy Hargrove and Mulgrew Miller "In Harmony" on Resonance Records. The story of how this project came to life is told by myself and journalist/liner note writer Ted Panken, plus a who's who of jazz icons including Christian McBride, Keyon Harrold, Jon Batiste, Robert Glasper, Common, Sonny Rollins, Sean Jones, Chris Botti, Karriem Riggins, Kenny Barron, Victor Lewis, Ron Carter, George Cables and Ambrose Akinmusire. It was so moving to hear the outpouring of love and respect for these 2 incredible musicians from all of these voices, and I'm grateful that we were given an opportunity to tell this beautiful story. I want to sincerely thank Aida and Kamala Hargrove and Robb Patryk of Roy Hargrove Legacy; as well as Tanya, LeiLani and Darnell from the Mulgrew Miller Estate for their love and support. Thanks as always to Michael Kurtz and Carrie Colliton from Record Store Day as well. [Album cover photos by Jimmy Katz]
