Northern Ireland dashcam bloopers

Following some recent and frankly stupid comments I'd like to make something clear I'm posting these videos to educate people and try and reduce the road deaths and injuries and if anyone has a problem with that they need to take a big deep look inside themselves! A recent BBC news article posited that Northern Ireland road deaths up until the start of August were 42 - Up from 27 for the same period the previous year and works out an average of one every five days. Everyone thinks 'Oh that won't ever happen to me' and I'm sure the 42 road deaths so far this year probably thought the same. If you're reading this it's or if you're one of the featured drivers it's not too late to change your driving. Posting stupid comments blaming me for highlighting this is not going to stop me doing it nor is it going to make the roads safer. People having a bit more consideration and stopping driving / parking like twats however, will! 00:00 - 00:05 - That special class of twat, who parks blocking a pedestrian crossing 00:10 - 00:20 - Stop lines and a stop sign mean 'STOP' which means your wheels must stop rotating. Ditto 04:30 00:20 - 00:27 - White zigzag lines at a crossing are there for the safety of crossing users, not as a convenient parking space. Ditto 06:06 00:34 - 00:42 - At a roundabout you give way to traffic already on the roundabout or traffic coming from the right. It's also a good idea to look and see if it's clear rather than just driving onto it. Ditto 01:24, 03:12, 05:25, 07:40, 08:15, 08:28, 00:50 -01:10 - And another driver with an allergy to using indicators. Ditto 02:34, 02:44 01:13 - 01:23 - The motorcyclist overtaking in the face of oncoming traffic on a wet road is what paramedics refer to as an 'Organ Donor' 01:30 - 01:40 - The speed limit increase is in effect from when you pass the sign not when you're leaving the area of the lower limit. Ditto 08:05 01:42 - 02:05 - And one driving onto the box junction when it's not clear to do so, followed by another who drives out of a give way in front of me 02:08 - 02:12 - Double broken white lines in front of you mean 'Give Way' not 'Pull out ahead of oncoming traffic' Ditto 03:22, 02:18 - 02:24 - Blocking the crossing is an offence, even if you're in a traffic queue. This lady had to cross between cars and this was a hazard to her all because of this driver having his car on the crossing 03:55 - 04:29 - Motorcyclists filtering is fine and dandy, done it myself. Going over the stop line is illegal. Going from the right hand lane and turning left when the lights change is dangerous. See reference earlier re paramedics and the term 'Organ donor' 04:45 - 04:53 - If turning right at a roundabout use the right hand lane. If turning left or going straight ahead use the left hand lane 05:00 - 05:05 - Amber lights mean stop if you can stop safely, and red lights mean stop. If it goes to amber from green it is not going to go back to green again and you probably won't beat the lights 05:13 - 05:20 - And as well as this car driver trying to beat the lights we have an idiotic pedestrian running across the road after the traffic has started moving 05:40 - 06:03 - And as I approached the village I slowed down to the posted 30mph speed limit. It seems this VW driver didn't as he was overtaking me right before the speed limit change which could have led to a collision. He was also getting ahead at a fair pelt after the limit changed to 60mph. 00:45 - 00:50 - Driver pulling across oncoming traffic on a 50mph limit is just stupid 00:55- 01:06 - A yellow box junction may not be entered unless you can see your exit is clear or you are turning right and your exit is blocked by oncoming traffic. Here we see two cars blocking the road by breaking this rule. Ditto 04:15 01:20 - 04:12 - A good way to avoid following someone too close - Wait until they pass a fixed point (Tree, lamppost etc) and say 'Only a fool breaks the two second rule' if you have not finished saying it before you pass the same point you are following too closely. Ditto 05:55, 10:40 06:13 - 07:30 - And a special mention to this driver, tailgating us on the motorway, then doing the same with another driver off the motorway, and then nearly changing lanes into us before the junction. Don't think he was sticking to 30mph off the motorway either 07:31 - 07:34 - Parking your car on the pavement and blocking it completely like this is being an arsehole and putting pedestrians in danger because they have to walk in the road to go round 07:54 - 08:02 - Entering a box junction before your exit road is clear is obstruction. This drivers exit clearly wasn't clear 08:40 - 08:51 - This e-scooter rider is already breaking the law, and then the speed he approaches the corner he nearly hit the child on her bike coming round the corner - you can see him swerve! 08:51 - 09:03 - This driver dangerously overtaking in the face of oncoming traffic near will cause an RTC if he keeps doing this
