SHREK: Behind the Swamp - - Part 2: Costumes

Can you imagine the sheer skill it takes to translate an entire fairy tale world from screen to a Broadway stage?! Luckily, SHREK THE MUSICAL brought together some of the greatest theatrical minds in the business including set and costume designer Tim Hatley, lighting designer Hugh Vanstone and of course director Jason Moore. In part 2 of our six part series "Behind The Swamp", we find out the answers to some of the most interesting questions ever asked during a theatrical creative process, including "How will we make Pinnocchio's nose GROW?", "How do you take an actor who is over 6 feet tall and shrink him down to barely 4 feet tall?", and how do you make a donkey's ears move all by themselves when attached to an actor's head?". Not to mention, creating a plethora of fairy tale creatures using just material, a needle and thread, and some crafty theatrical ingenuity!
