The Peloponnesian War: Sparta (Return of Rome Custom Campaign)

This is the easiest of the 6 choices, great for first time players, so you can learn the gigantic map and all the enemy positions. You start off with the strongest land military; your hoplites are buffed in addition to moving faster and being discounted as the Greeks. You can just steamroll your main opponents at the start before they have a chance to build up their economy, after that the occasional attacks from the pirates are pretty easy to defend so it should be smooth sailing from then. This is a playthrough of The Peloponnesian War custom scenario for Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - Return of Rome. In this video I play as the Spartan faction.
