熊鈴と巡る日本｜築城500年 苗木城を歩く｜巨岩が支えた天空の山城｜DaiFeel ZERO

Naegi Castle is believed to have been built in 1526 by Tōyama Masatoshi. Unlike many Japanese castles, it was constructed by skillfully incorporating enormous natural granite rocks into its defenses, making it one of the most distinctive mountain castles in Japan. During the Sengoku period, it became a strategic stronghold contested by the Oda and Takeda clans. After the Battle of Sekigahara, it remained the residence of the Tōyama clan throughout the Edo period. The year 2026 marks the 500th anniversary of Naegi Castle's construction. Today, it is designated as a National Historic Site and one of Japan's Continued Top 100 Castles. In this video, we walk continuously from the trailhead to the castle's observation deck, following the historic mountain paths, stone walls, and giant natural rock formations. The sounds of birds, wind, footsteps, and the clear tone of the bear bell have been preserved as naturally as possible. For this walk, we used the precision-machined aluminum bear bell "DaiFeel ZERO."
