Believe it or not this was my first ever time aboard the Boeing 737 MAX 8. It alluded me for years but I finally got the chance to fly the MAX 8 variant. Overall the state of Southwest in 2026 is a little confusing. They’ve since done away with open seating and that has somewhat caused problems in the early days of their change. Personally I cannot stand the new changes. Southwest is no longer set apart from the rest sadly.
