S6E7: Atomic Garden’s Saturday Detention with Chacho, Paulo and Juan

On Friday, Atomic Garden brought Chacho Puebla, Paulo Areas and Juan Christmann together for a workshop on how to win at Cannes. Or at least how to get the jury’s attention and keep it. On Saturday, when normal people were resting, I caught the trio on a park bench and tried to squeeze out a little encore. What did the people who skipped the workshop miss? What really makes an award-winning case? Does it still matter? This is not exactly a polished studio conversation. My four-year-old assistant was behind the camera, pulling my arm, messing up the framing and, spoiler alert, eventually announcing an urgent need for a toilet break… Bad production. Good conversation. Very real life.
