Petter W1VO Problem Solved - Vintage Stationary Engine & pump -

Hi all, yes another video of the old Petter.....I think I have at last sorted the fuel starvation issue. The fuel tank has been turned through 180 degrees and a shorter fuel line with less of an angle has been fitted. I have also fitted a pulley to the engine so it is seen here driving a Hardi 603/4 diaphragme pump. The engine smokes to start with as it is running on two stroke petrol, as the vaporiser warms the oil is vaporised and the smoke clears. The Petter W1 was a water cooled version of the air cooled Petter A1. This is a more unusual model as it has a Vaporiser (VO) and is thought to be one of five reverse rotation high speed W1VO's ever made. Enjoy.....
