This time the patient is... my boss! Meniscus surgery | Irina's journey

Well, this is something different for us. I’m always the one filming our patients, but this is the first time I’ve had to document the journey of someone I know so well – my boss, Irina. Irina isn’t just my boss – she’s someone I share a workspace with every single day. She’s also one of the most empathetic and emotionally intelligent people I know. It’s no wonder she’s been so well-loved for over 24 years. A steady stream of people came to her clinic room to wish her a speedy recovery and check on her progress. True to her humble nature, Irina didn’t tell many people she was having surgery, so some jokingly gave her a piece of their mind. But ultimately, they all just wanted to make sure she was cared for.
