On day 8, I hiked “5 Lakes Hike (5-Seenweg)” to explore Stellisee, Grindjisee, Grünsee, Moosjisee, and Leisee: three of these mountain lakes reflect the Matterhorn. Then I took a gondola up to Rothorn for a panorama view of Matterhorn and Weisshorn and hiked down to Fluhalp. The sunset at Stellisee was surreal - scattered clouds were bright red, in the evening.
