Mahadevan Hits | தமிழ் திரைப்படம் 📝 Synopsis The movie Engiruntho Vanthal (He Who Came from Somewhere) delivers a gripping 1970 Tamil social drama adapted from the acclaimed Bengali play Sesh Theke Shuru. The narrative centers on a complex web of dual identities, past sins, and ultimate moral redemption. Sivaji Ganesan delivers a tour-de-force performance, portraying dual roles that capture contrasting human natures—one noble and self-sacrificing, and the other driven by reckless ambition and moral failing. The plot unfolds as a mysterious stranger enters a prominent household, sparking deep emotional undercurrents, suspicion, and startling revelations about the past. As secrets unravel, characters played by Devika, J. Jayalalithaa, and K. Balaji find their lives profoundly altered by intersecting destinies. Elevated by stellar comic relief from Nagesh and dramatic gravitas from Major Sundarrajan, the film explores the painful road to forgiveness and self-realization. Directed with masterful cinematic pacing by A. C. Tirulokchandar and enriched by immortal musical compositions from K. V. Mahadevan (such as "Engiruntho Vanthal" and "Ponnendrum Semponnendrum"), Engiruntho Vanthal stands tall as a benchmark of 1970s dramatic cinema. ► Credits 🎬 Movie Credits: ⭐ Movie Name: Engiruntho Vanthal (1970) ⭐ Starring: Sivaji Ganesan (Dual Role), Devika, J.
