Alan Keef Ltd Branch Line Society Track Bash 2026

10/10/2026 With the recent news of Alan Keef Ltd heading a different direction and moving to a new location in future, we leapt on the opportunity to visit the site when Branch Line Society advertised their upcoming visit. Despite all the Open Days held here, we were never able to make it to a single one, which was a shame, but at least we've made up for that with this visit. As ever with a Branch Line Society visit, we did every single bit of track possible as will be seen in this video, into the sheds, into the sidings (and bushes!) and rare for a BLS visit, steam. In operation on this visit were: Home Fleet . AKL Vertical Boiler Coffeepot 'Taffy' . B121 Battery locomotive This is definitely an interesting setup, this will be staying here for a while until planning permission is granted for their new site, in which they'll be teaming up with Steam Workshop. They will then be focusing on the infrastructure and track side of the business.
